Construction

I will be slowly taking away elements of the blog please be patient the blog like myself is under construction.

Color me out this funk!

Greeting Beauties,

So I have been in a funk for the past month, not doing my hair, eyebrows just looking atrocious. I tried to revamp the blog and nothing. So I got my eyebrows threaded (which I have been practicing on myself, as soon as I get a willing participant I will blog about that but I digress lol) threw a weave in my head, put on a dress, some pink and white rhinestone earrings and a HUGE pink ring from mypinklush.com check them out I love their stuff and decided to waltz my tail to work and put on a happy face!

So on a road to being a better me and feeling better I decided that I am going to go do all of the make up things that I am scared of like lip color. OMG lip color just does not seem to work for me but what do I have to loose by trying. Eyebrow filling in used to scare me, then blending so now upward and onward to luscious puckers dipped in color.

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday xoxo

So Sorry

It has been a whole minute and a half since I have posted anything worthy to share and I apologize. Life has been carrying me away and I have not been feeling colorful or inspiring. But! with the warm weather approaching and  sunset walks I think I should be back up and running shortly.

It has been a minute-Recap Journey to Diamonds

I know it has been a minute. I started working on a post about some of my  wish list goodies and some of it was discontinued :( . Anywho last weekend I had a chance to train and fellowship with some dynamic ladies from New York, South Carolina, DC, and Virginia. We demonstrated facials, skincare, and make up matching and application.

The ladies absolutely loved it and we had a photographer take headshots. Honey we had us a great time in Baltimore at our Journey to Diamonds. Thank you again ladies for being the latest canvas for my brushstroke.

Pictures to come.

TIP: The right color for your skin complexion should absolutely melt into your face. If you see a difference in shade try another color. The end result should be flawless application!

As always my beauties Left Cheek, Right Cheek Two snaps and a Kiss Ciao xoxo Ms.MUP!

Conceal, Conceal Those Pesky Little Marks

If you have skin like me than sometimes you might want to use a concealer depending on the occasion. My foundation has great buildable coverage so I fore go it most times. But if you prefer a concealer here are some tips. (For foundation and Creamy Concealers visit www.nykitasmall.youngevityonline.com click on mineral make u)

Step 1
Dot the areas where you want coverage with product.

Step 2
With a finger, sponge or concealer brush, tap gently over the area with a back and forth motion. I prefer a concealer brush. The ones from E.L.F are superb and at just a Buck you can not go wrong. (These brushes also double as eye shadow brushes for high definition looks with multiple colors.

Step 3
Blend

Step 4
Blend

Step 5
Blend

Never let your concealer show through your foundation. The key to most beauty techniques is blending. Here are a few more tricks
  • Don't try to match your skin color; always go one shade lighter. The point is to lighten the dark marks. Depending on the darkness of the area going a shade or two lighter is best.
  • Choose a concealer based on the type of imperfection you want to cover and the level of coverage you want.
  • Warm the product up on the back of your hand before applying. I scrape some into my hand and rub it around either between my clean fingers or with my concealer brush This makes it easier to spread and prevents it from going on  so thick and cakey.
Have a fab day and remember the beauty on the inside far outweighs the beauty on the outside.
